Hitachi Systems Security Announces New Hires to Support its Continued Growth Across the Globe
Montreal, Quebec, Canada – March 21, 2019 — Hitachi Systems Security Inc., a global IT security service provider specialized in 24/7 managed security services and strategic security consulting, announced multiple new hires to support its continued growth across the globe.
Jan Marcogliese has joined the organization as Chief Financial Officer, Louis-Robert Forget has been appointed Vice President, Global Services and Shant Kassardjian has taken the role of Director, Global Security Operations Center. The recent hires have started their positions in March 2019 to add more bandwidth to the security operations, global service and finance functions. Appointed for their extensive skills and wealth of knowledge in their respective fields, they will be working at the company’s head office located in Blainville, Quebec, Canada.
Jan Marcogliese was hired for his extensive experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance measurement in both large multi-national companies and in a medium-sized biotech environment. In his new role as Chief Financial Officer, he will be responsible for managing the company’s finances, including financial planning, financial management, management of financial risks, record-keeping, and financial reporting. He will work closely with other executives to support business growth objectives and take the financial lead thereon. Prior to joining Hitachi Systems Security, Jan was Director of Financial Planning & Analysis as well as the Head of Finance in the pharmaceutical industry. He holds a Bachelor’s degree and a graduate diploma in Accountancy from Concordia University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Louis-Robert Forget comes to Hitachi Systems Security as a senior security manager with over 20 years of experience in the areas of IT, security, risk management and corporate governance. In his new role of Vice President, Global Services, he will be responsible for the strategic direction, operational execution, and delivery across multiple geographies and functions. He will also provide strategy and executive leadership to set a clear and ambitious vision while thinking holistically about delivering services efficiently and overseeing project management. Prior to joining Hitachi Systems Security, Louis-Robert was a senior manager in a large financial institution. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières and a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) from the Université de Sherbrooke. Louis-Robert is a frequent speaker and has been teaching at the HEC Montréal for the past five years.
Shant Kassardjian joins Hitachi Systems Security as Director, Global Security Operations Center (SOC). In his new role, he will be responsible for service delivery program management encompassing coaching and mentoring of the Managed Security Services (MSS) Team. He will also support the business development function and develop delivery strategies for the MSS function for all global SOC entities, to help our customers protect their information assets and strengthen their cybersecurity posture against cyber threats. Prior to joining the Hitachi Systems Security, Shant was a Manager, Cyber Security Services at a global professional service company. He comes with over 14 years of experience directing a broad range of corporate IT security initiatives while participating in solution planning, analysis and implementation. Shant holds several industry-relevant certifications, including CISM, CISSP, ITIL v3 Foundation and CompTIA Security+.
