May 11, 2016 – USA, Canada, Switzerland, Mexico – Hitachi Systems Security, a global IT security service provider, is hosting its fourth annual information security and risk management conference for customers and partners from all across the world. Since its first conference in 2011, Hitachi Systems Security has brought together thousands of security professionals during workshops, briefings and conferences by offering them a platform for continuous learning, knowledge exchange and networking. Sponsored by Hitachi Systems, Ltd., SecureBrain Corporation, Tripwire Inc. and SAINT Corporation, this year’s edition will be held from May 15-16, 2016, at the Epic Hotel in Miami, Florida, United States.
Under the theme “Reaching Greater Heights Together”, the event represents a truly unique learning experience. Since acquiring fellow Canadian security provider Seccuris in early 2015 and having joined the ranks of Hitachi Systems, Ltd. in October 2015, Hitachi Systems Security reemphasizes its commitment to continuous learning and education with two full days of presentations and workshop sessions from today’s most experienced and respected industry leaders. Topics include data security, compliance frameworks, cybersecurity from a leadership perspective, big data, malware, threat risk assessments, enterprise security architecture and much more. Over 100 industry professionals and business leaders from various countries and verticals, including financial services, telecommunications and the healthcare sector, will be attending the event.
“Since its first iteration, Hitachi Systems Security’s annual conference has always been a unique opportunity for our customers and partners to get together, share their experiences and challenges, and learn about what they can do every day to better protect their critical data”, says Ray Georges Chehata, president and CEO of Hitachi Systems Security.
“This year’s conference is the biggest and most educational conference we have ever hosted, and we are truly humbled to welcome an international group of participants from all four corners of the world. After having joined the ranks of Hitachi Systems, Ltd. last year, the conference is a truly fantastic opportunity for our customers, not only to learn more about cybersecurity best practices and industry trends, but also to find out more about Hitachi Systems Security’s mission and objectives as a Hitachi Group Company. Without a doubt, this past year has been the most exciting year in the history of Hitachi Systems Security. We look forward to introducing our customers to our global partner Hitachi Systems, Ltd., who allows us to remain competitive in the consolidating security industry without compromising the core values that made Hitachi Systems Security a successful and respected player globally – respect, integrity, and continuous improvement.”
