Session Abstract

Today more than ever, having a basic understanding of information security, its issues and threats is essential to protecting physical security systems from cyber threats, thereby improving the overall enterprise security position of an organization. This one-of-a-kind program is designed to enable non-IT security professionals to understand the language and challenges of IT Security. Simple resources and tools will be provided to use in the day-to-day navigation of information security issues. By applying existing physical security knowledge to this new understanding, attendees will be able to go back to their organizations with the confidence to have meaningful dialogue with IT to assess cyber and operational security risks and determine the best mitigation strategies.

Session Abstract

The world is full of technologically-meshed systems and data that control everything from kitchen crock pots to massive manufacturing lines.
